There has been rumors of "Cork Taint" (officially referred to as "TCA" compound (2,4,6-trichloroanisole)) which has been confirmed in an email to BeerRat from Sazerac.
A series of bottles affected by Cork Taint is (B15258 to B15266). Not to say every bottle is, so if you find a bottle in the series mentioned you can take a chance.
They are issuing me a full refund of my purchase price and sending me shipping materials to send my bottles back for analysis.
If this has affected you, e-mail Alan Tenniswood ([email protected]), in hopes that they will refund. UPDATE: It appears that Sazerac is no longer doing refunds.
